That's the way Tiffany, our daughter, went.

Like you say, this kind of prayer helps us through the troubles and bad times.Ted M. Jesus having our back is a nice way of putting it. We surely do need him. And we need more, to live in that grace. No matter what. And no matter what, that grace is there, in Jesus, for us.Ted M. (sp?) So, I tried to take whatever drugs were available to keep the labor pain free. Nope, it wasn't perfectly pain free but it was comfortable and to make an analogy, for me praying and staying close to God makes the bad times bearable.
Nancy - your phrase :"Jesus has our back" I just love it!
I never thought about Jesus like that but I like it - really do.Rachel Mchttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05422752225793715728noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20184070.post-728949015584910882008-07-15T16:15:00.000-04:002008-07-15T16:15:00.000-04:00Ted:Good thoughts.I was present with my wife for t...Ted:

Good thoughts.

I was present with my wife for the births of all four of our children, which she had without any anesthesia!

That experience led me to two conclusions: First, Paul's analogy is quite appropriate, and second, my wife is much tougher than I am!Allan R.
