You're right that this has overlap wit...Maalie,<br />You're right that this has overlap with any human's life. It is good when atheists or anyone else seeks to live a life for the good of others. This is inherent in humans as well as the proneness to live life for one's self.<br /><br />The difference is that it's a qualitatively different life: a Christ-life. It's lived with a different motive, to follow Jesus and ends up being like him in this world, as the Apostle John wrote. Not lived for the lust of human pleasure, the delight of human eyes, and the pursuit of greatness and prosperity in this world. But instead lived simply for God and others in the path of Jesus.<br /><br />Jesus died for us to bring us into his life, which qualitatively is different than other human lives, and is therefore to be lived out differently in this world.Ted M.
