prayer for the week

Give us grace, O Lord, to answer readily the call of our Savior Jesus Christ and proclaim to all people the Good News of his salvation, that we and the whole world may perceive the glory of his marvelous works; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Ted,
Amen brother; what a wonderful prayer. I pray that we will proclaim the Good New to all man. I hope that people will have an open heart to recieve it!

I would love for you to join the discussion my blog if you like.

My prayer for you is to have a blessed week in Lord Jesus Christ!

Kinney,
Thanks much. I went over there, and certainly a fine post on ritual with good comments. I dropped one, probably not real well thought out, but I think rituals have their place and can be beneficial as long as we see them as means and not ends.

Thanks.

And oh yes, we tend nowdays to be weak on proclamation of the gospel. But we need to do this, to be bold, to not be ashamed of the gospel. To lovingly, humbly and with grace share it with others. Amen. May I and us in Jesus grow together in this.

Presence as friends and in lives lived, as well as proclamation- surely each important in our witness to the world.

Well, Kinney, God deserves all glory as you know and it's sometimes in spite of me, if any good comes, and of course any good from us all is from God.

As usual you are a son of encouragement, a Barnabas. You're most too kind, though. But I appreciate your grace, as well as the truth in Jesus that is in you. Thanks, brother.
