O God, you declare your almighty power chiefly in showing mercy and pity: Grant us the fullness of your grace, that we, running to obtain your promises, may become partakers of your heavenly treasure; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

you would be just the person to start a men's bible study.
Nancy, Thanks for the compliment. Next week I start leading a homegroup- guitar singing hymns and songs together, and facilitating discussion over a Bible passage or theme. We had a good time last year, and I look forward to our times together again.
But yes, at my age you get your opportunities; I have more besides. There are more opportunities and possibilities out there than there are workers it seems. I need to pray more to be led or do well in what I do, and not be scattered too much, too thin, which I can tend to do, I think.
oh, you already are involved in a study, with music and singing. i did not know that about you. that sounds like very encouraging fellowship.
Nancy, I have been much encouraged in my faith through this group and through some people of faith in it.
...and really that has included everyone.
