prayer for the week

Purify our conscience, Almighty God, by your daily visitation, that your Son Jesus Christ, at his coming, may find in us a mansion prepared for himself; who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

God is so good to be with us, in us, guiding us, changing us, and wanting us.

Yes, Nancy. So true. He is on our side and is at work. We need to trust that. And he wants us to be interactive with him, praying according to his revealed will, as well as seeking to live in that will, in Jesus.

Have a Lovely Christmas Ted, I know that this is a very important time of year for you.

Enjoy a glass of beer if you have time too and do not eat too many of those Christmas pies!

I just had a Martin sighting. Good to hear from you. I would if I had one. Maybe we can have a beer or two someday together- and maybe with some of the other bloggers and friends! Wouldn't that be nice.

Oh yes, Martin. But I wish they'd take this celebration I see, or whatever it is, and name it something else. You even have people in other countries wanting to celebrate or be a part of this festive American holiday, putting up Christmas trees, yet acknowledging they don't know the true meaning of Christmas. Well, neither do we over here, I'm afraid.
