Easter Sunday 2008 at Redeemer's

Tiffany gets a nice pic of Deb and I.

Prayer for someone after the service by some of our people, as I'm on my way to join them.

Jack and Sharon are a great pastoral team.

Was a very good Easter celebration at our church gathering yesterday.

They are lovely photos. The church is very beautiful. My church is a converted cinema! It is very lovely inside though with loads of candles, statues, pictures and all the things that non-Catholics hate! Oh, and it always smells of incense too!

We have some lovely services during Holy Week. Very ritualistic. The sort that I love.

Sounds like you had a wonderful Easter.
It is so great that we serve a Living God.
Thank you for sharing these pictures with us.
May God bless your church and ministry.

Lorenzo,
Now I don't hate the ritual side and candles and the like. Rich symbollism, and if Catholics err on one side, we Protestants or other Christians can err on the other, I think.

Of course the meaning should all point us to the risen Christ who alone is our Salvation, and what he did for us, once for all, by his sacrifice for us on the Cross, that first "Good Friday".

Thanks for stopping by, and glad you enjoyed the pics!
