morning prayer

Lord God, almighty and everlasting Father, you have brought me in safety to this new day: Preserve me with your mighty power, that I may not fall into sin, nor be overcome by adversity; and in all I do direct me to the fulfilling of your purpose; through Jesus Christ my Lord.
Amen.†

Isn't that just a wonderful thing to remember... all things may not go according to our plans, but God has brought us safely to a new day. And even in that simple gift is grace.

Sunday, June 17th already? ;-)

Your not only posting everyday, putting lame bloggers like me to shame but now you're blogging in ahead of the day!

L.L., Yes. It is interesting how each and every day is a gift from God and we need to receive it as such and learn to live in it as such.

Of course that gift is the undoing of our doing or our wants and propensities at times, and we need to be aware of that.

Until Blogger gives us a delayed posting mechanism (I don't think they have it) I'll be doing that, I guess, maybe here and there.

ESI, You're not a lame blogger, nor more lame just because you blog less. I think consistency in blogging is more important than doing it every day. I don't think anyone can keep up with a blog that does it every day, unless you're talking about one like "Jesus Creed". Though I know at certain seasons there may be blogs that really minister to us.

I did feel strange posting those ahead of time. :)
